Istros Books goes to the London Book Fair 2011

Istros Books was present at the London Book Fair 2011. This is the first time that the publishing house was represented, and it was a chance to introduce ourselves to other companies, meet like-minded professionals and attend some of the lectures on offer. Of special interest was the Literary Translation Centre, where there were events on the art of translation as well as how to review and how to sell works in translation. Rosie Goldsmith led an interesting disucusion with Max Porter of Daunts, among others, expressing his committment to showcase books from lesser known places.
